Administration
The platforms and moorning buoys are mostly used in common by Mobil, Shell, Aygaz, Petrol Ofis, T.E.K. and BP therefore the administration may become either one of those companies depending on the ownership of cargo loader or discharged.
Location and Description of the port
Ambarlı is situated at the western skirts of İstanbul within a distance of about 40 km. Black and white products as well as chemicals and LPG are handled.
Pilotage
Compulsory. Provided by Turkish Maritime Organization
Towage
Not necessary for upto 1 500 GRT.
1 tugboat compulsory upto 5 000 GRT.
2 tugboats compulsory for 5 000 and above.
Tugboart fees are doubled due to the installations being outside the port limits
Fresh Water
Available
Bunker : Provided through suppliers.

Numbers are used for describing below berths in order to provide easy reference to the sketch. However, actually no such numbers are used in describing those platforms or mooring buoys.
