Location and Description of the port
Isdemir port is situated within the site of Iskenderun Iron and Steel Works on the Iskenderun bay of Eastern Mediterranean. The port is protected by two breakwaters.

Compulsory. Provided by theSteel Works Port administration
Towage
Not necessary for the vessels up yo 500 GRT.
One tugboat compulsory for the vessels of up to 500 GRT.
Two tugboats compulsory for the vessels of more than 4.000 GRT.
Three tugboats compulsory for the vessels of more than 15.000 GRT.
Four tugboats compulsory for the vessels of more than 50.000 GRT.
Provided by the Iron and Steel Works.
3 Tugs available (up to 2.480 HP).
Fresh Water Fresh water is available.
